A loved but tired pergola seating area in this mid Cornwall garden was treated to a touch of Chelsea Flower Show modern style.

The garden is divided into rooms on 2 stepped levels strongly defined by the red cedar beams overhead. Cool coloured natural paving sits beneath the bold pergola giving a modern feel, whilst the box hedging and ground cover planting softens the edges
